A Viennese extending dining table veneered in rosewood, the pedestal base formed by a rectangular column flanked by 4 free standing circular columns; the base plinth clad in brass. The table incorporating two matching leaves 22.75" long each. Secessionist period. Vienna, ca. 1910. This table's design relates very closely to a table designed by Joseph Hoffmann, ca. 1912-14, for the Poldihutte offices located at #7 Invalidenstrasse, Vienna.
